ROGER ETHIER

GENERAL MANAGER

BIO

Roger brings 20 years of skill and knowledge in the utility sector from a Labourer’s position up to a Senior Manager. In 1999 Roger co-founded a utility construction company and helped build up the company into a multi-million dollar business. Roger’s previous field work includes Foreman, Operations Manager and Company Safety Officer with a wide range of safety courses including train the trainer for Heavy Mobile Equipment Safe Operation. Roger’s past experience allows him to give integral guidance for TCIS growth and success. Roger is a very safety minded individual that focuses on attention to detail. Roger has a strong belief that “Safety Saves Lives and Quality Saves Jobs”.

TOM YOUNGER

COMPANY OPERATIONS MANAGER

BIO

Tom brings 33 years of experience in the utility construction industry with the last 17 years spent helping build and grow our company into what it is today. Previously, he spent 16 years working for Fortis Alberta in both the construction and operations departments as a Red Seal Certified Journeyman Power Lineman. Presently, Tom focuses much of his time consulting underground powerline construction for our customers, helps manage our construction departments, and manages our utility contracts.

RYAN HARKER

SUBDIVISION SHALLOW UTILITIES MANAGER

BIO

Ryan brings 16 years of experience spent with Lafarge Construction Materials. Progressing through the ranks at Lafarge quickly in roles starting from Estimator, Project Manager, Sales Representative and eventually Sales Manager where he spent his final 8 years at Lafarge. His experience ranges across three divisions of Lafarge including Precast, Ready-Mix and Concrete Pipe. Ryan holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology and is an active member of the Alberta Society of Engineering Technologists.

LANCE PREMAK

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER – UTILITY CONSTRUCTION

BIO

Lance provides 29 years of powerline experience, ranging from transmission to distribution. Highly experienced in overhead, underground maintenance, and new construction. Lance is certified with Provincial, Interprovincial, and Journeyman Power Lineman tickets. He is trained in 240KV, 138KV, 25KV Live Line Techniques. Lance worked with Fortis AB as a Journeyman Powerline Technician and an Area Coordinator for 9 years. He brings with him a strong belief in Safe Work Procedures and attitude toward safety.

CLAUDE ETHIER

TRAFFIC CONTROL & RENTALS MANAGER

BIO

Claude has 18 years’ experience in streetlight installation and maintenance within Atco Electric, Epcor, Sask Power and Fortis Alberta. Claude has been involved with supervision and management of work crews all across Western Canada over his working career. Claude has also been a field safety advisor with 10 years’ experience in health and safety management and has a NCSO designation from the Alberta Construction Safety Association. He truly has a strong belief in Safe Work Procedures and bringing home everyone safely every night.

CODY CORPE

FLEET MANAGER

BIO

Cody brings 12 years of utility construction experience. Cody is a journeyperson power lineman by trade. Cody is a safety professional that brings a unique advantage of been working in the trade as a Labourer, apprentice and a journeyperson. Cody understands the field and how safety can work side by side with operations. Cody was part of one of the largest transmission line construction projects in Canada. Cody currently serves as the company’s Fleet Manager and carry’s a designation of NCSO and is working towards his CRSP designation.

SHANE LEMMENS

SHOP FOREMAN

BIO

Shane provides 17 years of combined Shop Foreman and heavy duty mechanical experience. He is certified with Provincial, Interprovincial, and Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician tickets and is an ‘Alberta Licensed’ Commercial Vehicle Inspection Technician. Shane is a strong believer in Vehicle Safety, Safe Work Procedures and overall success of the company.

JOE STOCKER

HDD MANAGER

BIO

Joseph Stocker has worked in civil construction and the horizontal directional drilling industries for over two decades in the US and Canada.  He started his career with Ledcor in the 90s working on the FOTS build across the US then joined Mears bringing him to Canada.

With Quanta’s acquisition of Mears in the early 2000s he has since worked within the Quanta Group of companies; Valard and TCIS managing civil construction and directional drilling divisions.

With an innate ability to communicate, recognize traits and manage tendencies to a positive outcome Joseph has spent his career building and leading successful operating units capable of supporting intercompany BUs, sister company operations as well as building and serving an outside client base providing pipeline and telecom maintenance services, directional drilling, and new construction of a variety of underground infrastructure.

NICOLE LEVICKI

HSE MANAGER

BIO

Nicole brings 15 years’ experience in Health & Safety and 13 years in the Utility Construction industry from a construction laborer to a foreman position.

Nicole currently serves as the company’s NCSO (National Construction Safety Officer), designation from the ACSA (Alberta Construction Safety Association).

Nicole manages the company’s Health & Safety program including Disability Management and the Safety Rewards Program

BRUCE LOEWEN

TELECOM MANAGER

BIO

Bruce has over 35 years of Construction experience. Beginning in 1986 as an electrical apprentice in the Education and Healthcare sectors, he achieved his Red Seal Journeyman Certificate and migrated into wireless telecommunications managing cell site construction.

Later, Bruce was invited to join a small startup team building a new WISP which grew to become a $50M publicly traded company in less than a decade.

In 2017 Bruce became a part of the Quanta Group of Companies; Valard and TCIS, managing the wireless and telecom construction for valued clients such as AltaLink, ATCO, Freedom, Rogers and TELUS.

Bruce believes his team are the drivers of success and he is obliged to be the support they need to do it safely.

JULIE WHITTAL

COMPANY CONTROLLER

BIO

Julie is an experienced Financial professional with a demonstrated history of building teams and processes.

She has over 19 years of finance experience, with most of that time spent in the construction industry. Julie credits her success to a focus on communication and development of relationships with management and staff.

She is a designated CPA with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta.

WAYNE MACDONALD

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

BIO

Wayne provides 31 years of experience in all facets Utility Industry ranging from Red Seal/Blue Seal Journeyman Power Lineman to managing Distribution Electrical Design, Procurement,

Material Management along with Land and Approvals departments with Fortis Alberta.

The last 2 years Wayne has been with TC Infrastructure as a Project Manager of distribution construction. Wayne holds certificates in Project management and Construction Management through the U of C.

He has strong a belief in safety and teamwork for the overall success for the customer and the company.

TONY WALSH

HDD CONSULTANT

BIO

Tony has been working for TC Infrastructure’s Directional Drilling division for 21 years, starting as a drill locator in what was at that time a new industry.

Tony worked his way up within the drill crew, Locator, Driller, Foreman, Drill Superintendent, Manager and now Tony consults TCIS on HDD matters and projects.

Tony has worked with clients including Fortis, Telus, Shaw, numerous Oil and Gas Contractors, County of Strathcona, as well as many other clients over his career. His vast knowledge and experience is respected across the directional drilling industry.
